there's just something about weddings that i love.
like this one.
and a friend's recent one, three days ago.
going to them, being a part of them, passing by some of them, witnessing them and of course, dressing up for them.
at this one, i love how the groom's friends made sword bridges over them while they walked down the aisle.
too bad the picture is abit blurry to share.
congrats, bro. i'm so happy for you.

it's friday! (:
girl's night out with the mother & sister today.
escaped orchard road unscathed - can i share that i'm secretly proud of myself? pssst. thank you, Jesus!
am in the midst of reading UNMERITED FAVOR by Ps Prince.
hope you had as fun-filled a friday as i did!
xoxo
p.s just bought myself a new watch because TWO of them gave way. boo. i talked more about it here.
You know the message was for you when you walk out with the weight off your shoulders, a skip in your step and tear-stained pages in your notebook.
i'm convinced that there is no plan B.
thank you, Ps Ray Bevan, for speaking into my life today.
and there's no turning back.
suddenly, i love my life all over again.

it's a happy day. wheeeeeeeee!
spend time with one of my favorite friends at one of my favorite places and got to see one of my favorite people. my pastor. wooohooo! talk about divine. right place right time.
bought this pair of shoes at a lower price because it was placed at the wrong rack and the salesperson decided to honor that. talk about favor. thank you Jesus! :)

and so we met up for our usual hangout session last night. dinner, desert and fellowship.
one of them wore ridiculously tall high heels that had the look of pain the moment i saw them. ouch. she insisted that they were PRETTY and fit PERFECTLY in the shop. she only discovered their true colors when she put them on for real.
PRETTY painful, i said.
some of the prettiest shoes are the greatest pretenders.
last night, i was in a pair of loafers. pretty & comfortable to me.

i am dedicating this post to a brother of mine.
i had intended was to write a longer post about my recent trip to bkk but
1. pics are in the camera my sister took to HK.
2. i was caught up talking to a dear brother, who shared with me some pretty bad news.
i want to encourage him to walk on.
to not give up the fight, because it has already been won.
and to my sis, to walk on.
to conquer the streets of HK like never before. do my proud. as you can see, i can only be there in spirit.
well, at least i have my pretty new shoes for company.
yes, today's message is - WALK ON.
wherever you are, whoever you are, don't give up.
"You never know how close you are to the finish line until you cross it."
xoxo
so i wore my happy new shoes!
the ones i bought at a steal when we hopped over the causeway for a bit last Monday.
it was a size smaller than my usual but i fell in love the moment i saw them and had to get it.
anointed them with the same oil i used to anoint my fridge moments earlier.
the supposedly dead motor came to life and the shoes didn't hurt one bit.
thank you Jesus for happy new shoes :)
xoxo
.pretty imperfections sparkle.
